Scheduled for delivery in 2022, the 49m Sunseeker 161 yacht was first revealed during the Monaco Yacht Show in 2018 and features a tri-deck layout.
Brokered by Sunseeker Monaco during the iconic MYS show, Sunseeker and ICON Yachts made their first sale of the brand new fast displacement 161 yacht with the client signing a letter of intent.
Preparing to be constructed in the ICON Yachts facility in Harlingen, Holland, the Sunseeker 161 paves the way for the British brand to extend their range of metal vessels, with the second and third 161 hulls already in their discussion stages.
Further strengthening the success in its Sunseeker superyacht division, the British shipyard has now launched 137 vessels over 100 foot since 2000.
Finding a yard that shared the same progressive, innovative spirit to create something truly special and, most importantly, one which will provide us with the flexibility to build a true Sunseeker was the challenge. We have certainly found all of that with Icon.

Weighing under 500GT, the shipyard says the 161 yacht concept follows the trend of other Sunseeker vessels in the fleet in regards to a generous amount of space on board.
Interiors can vary between each hull, with owners being able to use the exclusive 'Bespoke' service to select their own colour schemes, materials and furnishings plus finishing touches. With all the customisations for personalising each vessel, each of the 161 units has enticing features including a plunge pool on the main deck and a spacious beach club.
Overnight accommodation for staying guests can vary depending on the layout choice, with either 10 or 12 guests able to stay in plush cabins with all the amenities they could desire.
