Two Ocean Marine's fully custom, 26.6m (87ft) catamaran is nearing completion, tailored for a client and their family in the Indian Ocean, and destined for delivery to the Seychelles.
This vessel represents a longstanding partnership between the South African shipyard and Du Toit Yacht Design, culminating in a series of 14 custom-built catamarans spanning from 18.3-33.5m (60-110ft).
The Two Oceans 870 Power Catamaran boasts a well-planned layout across its four levels, blending functionality with luxury. The main deck serves as the social space, featuring a refined salon, a well-appointed galley, and fore and aft cockpits.
Descending to the lower deck, each hull houses two guest staterooms with en-suite bathrooms, ensuring both comfort and privacy. The upper deck houses the owner’s stateroom, complete with walk-in closets, a coffee station, and a private aft cockpit. At the apex, the upper-level flybridge offers panoramic views, with a spacious lounge area and a bar. For crew-operated vessels, there are crew quarters on the main deck for two members.
The interior boasts premium finishes and a high level of craftsmanship, while also being designed for hospitality. The salon doubles as an entertainment area, featuring a lounge, TV room, and dining area, while the galley offers top-of-the-line appliances. Furthermore, the aft cockpit boasts a spacious teak dining table for al fresco dining.
A tender is housed aft on the owner’s deck, facilitated by a hydraulic crane/davit system, while the foredeck accommodates two jetskis and additional water toys with ease. This versatile space ensures that ocean activities can be facilitated with ease.
Powered by two 661hp Cummins QSM 11 engines, and backed by a substantial fuel capacity of 11,400 liters, the Two Oceans 870 Power Catamaran is equipped for extensive cruising. The propulsion system is also supported by two 27kW Onan gensets.
