About
Offered only with twin engines, her displacement hull design is a different beast compared to large planing sportsfishers in terms of fuel economy and range.
What it lacks in speed she makes up for in comfort, so if you yearn for your fishing trips to be longer than a few days, the 75EYF is accomplished enough to extend your fishing trip for months.
She is available with or without a flybridge but whether or not you opt for the exterior helm there is plenty of deck space to spare. The cockpit is below the level of the main deck and at almost 20ft (8m) wide it’s a vast space, which when not being used for fishing can be used for al fresco cooking with the exterior galley, which comprises a wet bar and grill.
It’s three easy steps up the high-bulwarked side decks to the main deck and second cockpit with tables and seats. The interior can be customised for the owner, but the standard layout includes a large double owner’s cabin forward, with en suite heads and shower and private seating forward of the salon, dinette and galley areas.
On the lower deck is the engine room and two guest cabins; one twin and one double, both en suite. In the pilothouse is a raised dinette, interior helm and a captain’s cabin to the rear. On the pilothouse deck, there’s a Portuguese bridge with a docking station and access to the boat deck forward.
From The Manufacturer
Nordhavn has taken what it does best, building long-range luxury expedition yachts, and incorporated all the fishing features and rigging found on tournament sportfishers to create the Nordhavn 75 Expedition Yachtfisher (EYF), a yacht that can truly go after any fish in the world. With one glance at the EYF, the discerning fisherman will instantly recognize what it is that makes for a great sportfishing boat: an enormous fishing cockpit, dual 60-gallon baitwells, a 35-cubic-foot deep freezer, plentiful gear and tackle storage, and all the rod holders and rigging a deep-sea angler could ever want.
But the N75 EYF is far more than your typical well-equipped sportfisher. At her heart, she is a heavily built, full displacement yacht meaning not only can she get to any ocean in the world, she can handle any condition that might be encountered along the way. She's safer in rough weather when sea states deteriorate and force a slower running speed, which is always a major downside to the typical small rudders found on sportfishers (and the N75EYF's standard stabilizers, she promises a comfortable ride even in bumpy seas).
The CAT C-18 diesel propels the EYF, and with the boat's 22'4" beam, customers can opt to go with a single or twin engine configuration based on preference.
