A new Princess F55 yacht for sale is at the core of the Princess Yachts range, offering three double cabins, well-proportioned deck spaces and a top speed of over 30knots.
This is a typically well-balanced layout from Princess, which features a full-beam Owner’s suite, forward VIP ensuite and twin guest cabin. The galley aft salon is big and bright, leading to the aft deck dining area. The flybridge is notably larger than the F50 and there is the addition of a proper foredeck lounge with a sofa and adjustable sun pads.
Power comes from 800hp or 900hp shaftdrive D13 Volvo Penta engines, the latter driving the Olesinksi-designed hull to just over 30knots.
Reasons to Buy a F55
Some 2m longer than the still three-cabin F50, this larger yacht uses its space intelligently, adding several key features over and above its smaller sibling. Outside, a foredeck lounge supplements the flybridge and cockpit plus there are crew quarters in the stern that could be a useful extra guest cabin.
Inside, the same galley aft design enjoys more space and domestic-size appliances. The window design has changed in both the topsides and superstructure, modernising the profile and drawing vast amounts of natural light. Below decks, the big win is a proper third cabin with side-by-side berths but the stateroom and VIP are both bigger and better. A 32-knot top speed will still deliver fast cruising up to around 28 knots, the longer heavier hull making for a smooth ride and engaging handling for a boat of this type. Avoid the stabiliser option if a decent tender is important, as it reduces the launch and recovery limit to just 125kg.
