On the exterior the boat has bulbs on the hull that extend the waterline length, enhancing cruising efficiency. There are twin bathing platforms at the back, complete with a boarding ladder. The seating area around the back is another feature, along with the provision for a tender.

The yacht also houses a TV that rises from a console, and a social area that can be converted into a daybed. There is an option of having a helm on the lower level, which is useful for the UK market where the weather can be unpredictable.

One of the highlights of the yacht is the full-beam owner's cabin, which is described as "absolutely fantastic". It features a dressing area, hanging lockers, a washing machine, a TV with a soundbar, and a bathroom with a separate shower area.

The flybridge is another highlight of the yacht, featuring a hardtop, large seating area, wet bar, and an upper helm with all necessary controls. Nick appreciates the door on the flybridge that allows direct access to the foredeck, which is very convenient when docking.

Nick gives a detailed walkthrough of the yacht's exterior, pointing out the wide side decks, massive deck area, and various seating spots. The anchor winch and anchor chain are located in a locker on the bow, which can be converted into a crew cabin if needed.

Inside the yacht, Nick shows viewers the lift-up window that creates an excellent bar area, large fridges that can be configured as freezers, and ample storage throughout the boat. He is particularly impressed with the boat's galley, which includes a sink, hob, and microwave.

The Aquila 44 also offers two more cabins, each with their own storage, windows, and ensuite bathrooms. Having equal-sized cabins prevents any potential squabbles over who gets the best room, aside from the master suite, of course.

Finally, Nick shows viewers the twin Volvo Penta D4 320 engines located in each hull, capable of propelling the Aquila 44 at speeds of over 20 knots. With a cruising speed of around eight knots, the yacht can cover a distance of 800 miles, offering impressive range.
