A particular highlight of the exterior are the sturdy railings, which are made from solid chunks of stainless steel and are designed to be easily replaceable in sections if damaged. The boat has an attractive beach club feel, with its open back, sunbed, and deep, safe walkways on both sides. The boat has a unique layout where the cockpit area is in the center, making it a secure. There are large sunbathing areas both at the fore and aft of the boat.

The helm is easily accessible with skylights that allow light in even when the sunbathing cushions are on, and it has a forward sloping windscreen that offers great visibility. Shown are various compartments that revealthe clever storage solutions and practical design elements such as mooring gear that can be neatly closed up when not in use, the large deck locker at the front, and the extra ladder that slots in at the back.

There is an outdoor galley area, the helm position, with a comfortable double helm seat, and its multifunction displays. The joystick control and bow thruster are both highlighted. The helm area can be easily opened up or closed off depending on the weather.

Below deck, there is a spacious dinette at the front and a sleeping area at the back. There is a large double bed that a couple could easily spend a week or a fortnight on the yacht. The heads have a separate shower area, and another galley area.

The engine room has twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS-650 engines, which give the boat a speed of 38 knots and a range of about 300 miles. The neat layout of the engine room and the easy access to various components are an appreciated feature. 

Nick gives high praise to the design of the Bluegame BG42, saying it's a boat that has been designed with the user in mind. He believes it's an easy boat to use, with lots of deck spaces and a focus on outdoor living.
