The exterior of the MCY 96 is designed for both functionality and aesthetics. The aft cockpit features a large table and ample shade from the overhang. The teak-faced bulwarks, which double as drop-down balconies, expand the deck space when at anchor.

The wide, deeply bulwarked side decks provide a secure walking area, and multiple side doors offer easy access when docked. At the bow, there is a sunbathing area and a seating zone, protected by a Bimini, perfect for privacy and enjoying the view.

The flybridge is a standout feature of the MCY 96, offering vast space and multiple zones. It includes a galley area with a teppanyaki grill, an ice maker, and a fridge. There is a secondary helm position for better maneuvering visibility. The large lounge area, complete with a hot tub, provides ample space for relaxation. Additionally, the flybridge features a massive sliding roof section for adjustable shade and further enhances the luxurious feel.

The interior of the MCY 96 is light and airy, thanks to large windows and opening doors. The main salon includes a TV that rises from storage, a wine cooler, an ice maker, and a fridge, making it an ideal space for entertaining. The dining area, located ahead of the salon, is flanked by sliding doors and teak-faced bulwarks that drop down to create balconies, expanding the deck space when at anchor. The use of light colors and large windows contributes to a casual and welcoming vibe.

The bridge is equipped with Boning screens that display ship systems and navigation. The adjustable helm seat can be used as a seat or a leaning post, providing flexibility. The helm also includes balance and stern thruster controls, engine controls, and communication equipment. The flybridge helm is similarly equipped, with additional repeaters for navigation and ship systems.

Owner's Cabin

The owner's cabin on the main deck is spacious and filled with natural light, thanks to large windows and glass panels in the bulwarks. The cabin includes a dressing area, a walk-in wardrobe, and an ensuite bathroom with a large rainfall shower, a wand shower, and a bidet. The thoughtful design and luxurious amenities make it a comfortable and private retreat.

Guest Accommodation

The lower deck features a four-cabin layout, including two VIP cabins with unique circular windows, ample storage, and ensuite bathrooms. The other two cabins can be configured as singles or doubles, with one featuring a Pullman berth for additional sleeping space. Emergency escape routes are cleverly integrated into the design, ensuring safety without compromising on luxury.

Crew Accommodation

The crew areas are functional and well-designed, featuring laundry facilities, fridges, freezers, and a well-equipped galley. There are three crew cabins, including a captain's cabin with an ensuite and bunk cabins. An emergency exit from the crew area leads straight to the deck, providing an additional safety feature.

The engine room, located at the rear, features V-drive engines to maximize cabin space. The MCY 96 is powered by twin MTU V16 M86 engines that provide 2,200 horsepower each, allowing the yacht to reach speeds of up to 24 knots.
