Turquoise Yachts History & Heritage

Turquoise Yachts traces its origins back to the 1970s, marking the inception of Turkey's first yachts under the Proteksan and Turquoise brands. Since then, the shipyard has delivered a range of megayachts, spanning from 40-77m (130-252ft) to an esteemed international clientele in the USA, UK, Europe, and Russia.

In 2014, MB Holding secured the majority share in Turquoise Yachts, solidifying its position as a top-tier, innovative, and highly capable custom builder. Continuously enhancing its facilities and processes across two shipyards to better serve global clientele, Turquoise has established offices in Monaco and Fort Lauderdale, in addition to offering comprehensive technical assistance and support from the company's Istanbul headquarters.

Turquoise Yachts operates two shipyards, one in Istanbul at Pendik, dedicated to interior decoration and finishing work, conveniently located minutes away from the Sabiha Gokcen International Airport. The second shipyard, featuring a 120m dock, is situated in Kocaeli, just across the bay from Pendik. This facility specializes in completing steel and aluminum hulls, superstructure work, and the installation of machinery and heavy piping. With the capacity to build yachts up to 120m in length, Turquoise Yachts stands at the forefront of the custom yacht-building industry.
