Scheduled to open its doors in September, the popular event has grown significantly since its inception in 1962, and now regularly attracts around 200,000 visitors throughout the duration of the event.
Now armed with a well-established international presence, the Genoa International Boat Show is known for hosting an impressive collection of Italian yachts from some of the biggest names in the industry.
Taking on a new form since 2018, Genoa operates a '5 in 1' appeal for its visitors, with clearly marked zones and an opportunity to see and do everything.
One show - four zones
Creating a vision of a clear cut and highly accessible boat show, the updated layout for Genoa features the following four zones;
- Yachts and Superyachts (Banchini F-H)
- Sailing World (Banchini A-C)
- Boating Discovery (Banchini C-D)
- Tech Trade (Pavillion, second floor)
The largest of all zones is the yachts and superyachts attraction. Showcasing a wide range of superyachts for sale, the area also comprises of smaller subsections featuring multi-hulls and a land-based Power Village for sports yachts.
Adjacent to the most iconic yachts at the event, an exclusive VIP facility has a private lounge for closing deals and socializing.
Living the Sea
A yacht show isn't complete without its extra amenities and Genoa certainly delivers. Living the Sea incorporates all the tourist favourites and combines them with an ongoing social scene that is hard to stay away from.
Featuring an extensive selection of a staggering 950 exhibitors, visitors have a lot of shopping to do with all nautical margins covered. Services, maintenance, gadgets, premium fashion and property can all be viewed throughout the duration of the event.
