  • Forward center bar with four stools
  • Full beam salon
  • Beach club setup on swim platform

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 6.1m beam and a 1.68m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 161 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Starting at the swim platform, Caribbean Soul is equipped with removable staples for versatile use, alongside fold-up cleats, ensuring practicality and ease of access for water activities. The dual staircase leading from the swim platform enhances both the yacht’s accessibility and its visual symmetry.

A notable feature in the design is the lazarette, offering substantial storage space. This area is unexpectedly spacious, housing industrial-sized refrigeration units, making it ideal for extended stays on board or for use as an innovative guest space. The yacht’s design cleverly integrates utility with living solutions, suggesting its suitability not only for leisure voyages but also as a unique stationary living space or guest accommodation.

The absence of side walkways allows for a full-beam cockpit, significantly enlarging the outdoor living area. Here, an alfresco dining setup comfortably accommodates gatherings, complemented by an entertainment bar equipped with modern amenities, including an ice maker and a wine cooler. This area’s design is simple yet effective, focusing on user experience and social interaction.

The bow area stays true to the yacht's classic lineage, featuring a generously sized sun pad and substantial deck equipment. Here, there is an oversized horn and comprehensive navigation tools, including a KVH track vision system and VHF antennas.

Ascending to the flybridge, the yacht reveals its entertainment-centric design. The space is expansive, accommodating multiple leisure zones, including a U-shaped alfresco dining area and a bar equipped with an ice maker and a refrigerator. The inclusion of a large grill and a sizeable island highlights the flybridge's role as the social heart of the yacht. The design thoughtfully incorporates a flexible bimini system for shade, enhancing comfort without compromising the open-air experience. Additionally, there is a heavy-duty crane emphasizes the yacht’s capability for tender and jet ski deployment.

Caribbean Soul combines leisure and functionality with a spacious flybridge, full-beam cockpit, and twin Detroit diesel engines, ideal for socializing and robust performance.

Interior Design

The salon, expansive due to its full beam layout, features a large U-shaped sofa conducive to social gatherings and entertainment, complemented by a pop-up television. The inclusion of electric blinds across the large windows enhances convenience while offering control over the natural light filling the space.

Adjacent to the salon, a home office setup with a desk by a large window presents a comfortable workspace, an unusual feature for a yacht of this size and indicative of the thoughtful utilization of the interior space. The forward center bar, equipped with four stools, a sink, wine fridge, and ice maker, serves as a focal point for entertaining.

Moving to the pilot house, the design takes an unconventional approach with a raised platform and a bench instead of a separate captain's chair, adding a unique character to the navigation area. The helm is outfitted with a suite of Furuno navigation equipment, demonstrating a blend of original and updated technology. The space is functional, with ample storage and a mechanical remote for the searchlight.

The galley presents an open yet optionally private design, thanks to a partition and pocket doors. Modern appliances, including a Sub-Zero fridge, updated microwave, and electric cooktop, ensure the galley's readiness for contemporary culinary demands. The layout emphasizes storage and practicality, with extensive cabinetry, dual sinks, and a dishwasher. The adjacent dining area, with its large built-in settee and massive table, accommodates numerous guests.

Accommodation

Caribbean Soul features a generous three-stateroom layout, designed to comfortably accommodate guests. Each guest stateroom is well planned, with ample space and large windows allowing for natural light to enhance the ambiance.

The owner’s suite has a full-beam layout, providing an unparalleled living space onboard. The suite includes a king-size bed, surrounded by extensive drawer and cupboard space. Unique to this suite are two large walk-in closets, one of which is exceptionally spacious, catering to all storage needs.

A comfortable settee, additional storage options, and a personal refrigerator enhance the suite’s livability, making it an ideal choice for extended stays onboard. The ensuite bathroom redefines luxury with a large multi-person shower, dual vanity with abundant storage, and exquisite marble work that adds a touch of elegance.

The first guest stateroom includes a double cabin setup, complete with a walk-in closet providing substantial storage, and an ensuite bathroom. The thoughtful design suggests the possibility of reconfiguration to include a king-size bed, offering flexibility depending on guest preferences.

Adjacent, the port side stateroom presents a queen-size bed, which also holds the potential for a king-size upgrade if desired. This room boasts a substantial walk-in closet and a dedicated space that can serve as a home office or vanity area, complemented by a personal refrigerator and ample shelving. The ensuite facilities mirror the thoughtful layout seen throughout, with a one-person shower and generous countertop space.

Caribbean Soul houses three cabins for up to four crew. Sharing a single head, the quarters are practical and maintain the yacht’s standards of comfort and privacy. The captain’s quarters offer private bedding and adequate storage.

Performance & Capabilities

Caribbean Soul is equipped with an engine room located midship, which houses two significant power sources: twin V12 two-stroke Detroit diesel engines. Each engine delivers a robust 700 horsepower, underscoring the yacht's reliable and enduring performance. These engines are known for their longevity and, with proper maintenance, can effectively run indefinitely. With these engines, Caribbean Soul is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots.

The yacht also features two Northern Light generators, one of which is enclosed in a sound shield for quieter operation, while the utility of the other remains uncompromised by its lack of a sound barrier. The presence of new parts on these generators suggests recent updates or maintenance efforts, although their original installation status is unclear.

For fuel monitoring, Caribbean Soul utilizes FlowScan technology. This system accurately measures the diesel fuel consumption by calculating the amount of fuel delivered to the engines and the surplus that is returned to the tank, providing a precise understanding of fuel usage at any given time.

The engine room is additionally equipped with a hydraulic bow thruster reservoir to aid in maneuvering. Other notable features include a water maker, an independent air-conditioning unit specific to the engine room for climate control, and a water heater. The yacht's fire suppression system, identifiable by large white cylinders, is a critical safety feature.

In terms of electrical systems, the yacht's breaker panel is encased in plexiglass, allowing for easy inspection while being illuminated, a feature less common in newer models. The primary fuel filters and fuel transfer pumps are meticulously labeled and organized, ensuring straightforward maintenance and operation.

The engines' electric starters, a more modern amenity compared to older models that required air pressure start-ups, offer convenience and reliability to the owner.
