Exterior Design

Fortitude, built by Intermarine - USA, stands at 136 feet in length, translating to approximately 42 meters. Its triple-deck structure is topped by a sun deck, offering expansive outdoor space for relaxation and entertainment. Despite its construction year of 1999, the vessel maintains a condition that belies its age, presenting a well-kept and contemporary exterior.

On the boat deck, a beam crane enables the extension and storage of a tender, while opposite lie the jet skis, both integral to the water-based experiences Fortitude offers. The exterior design is functional, facilitating a variety of activities without sacrificing the yacht's sleek profile.

The sun deck above serves as a prime location for guests to enjoy the open air, equipped with sun pads for lounging, a dining area for al fresco meals, a bar for refreshments, and a hot tub. The area is also fitted with essential navigation components such as communication antennas, radars, and navigation lights.

Fortitude prioritizes comfort and practicality, ensuring that every space is well-appointed and purposeful.

Interior Design

The interior of Fortitude brings a fresh ambiance to a classic vessel. The main salon is a prime example, where the original dark mahogany finish has been brightened with strategically placed light panels. This intervention has not only enhanced the space visually but also created a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The detailing throughout this area is precise and well-executed, featuring structural pillars that blend into the design and a dedicated TV zone for entertainment.

Adjacent to the living area, the dining room offers a separate space for formal meals. The area is fitted with a sizable table to accommodate guests comfortably, while the lighting is designed to complement the dining experience, providing both ambiance and functionality.

In the heart of the yacht, the galley is equipped to cater to high standards, featuring stainless steel appliances and ample refrigeration. It is a space optimized for practicality, allowing for efficient meal preparation and service. Designed with the crew in mind, the galley also provides direct access to the main deck and crew quarters for ease of movement.

The helm on Fortitude is a juxtaposition of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. The space is devoid of a helm seat, reflecting the yacht's reliance on autopilot during navigation. The technology at the bridge is state-of-the-art, including comprehensive camera systems, electronic chart displays, radar, and an integrated monitoring system for tank levels. The layout is intuitive, ensuring critical information is accessible at a glance, enhancing safety and ease of operation.

Throughout Fortitude, the lighting strategy is carefully considered to balance functionality with aesthetics. In each space, from the bar area to the helm, lighting serves to enhance the design elements, create mood, and ensure utility.

The dining and relaxation areas on the bridge deck are casual yet sophisticated, with a bar setup featuring refrigeration, ice makers, and a curated selection of glasses. The area is designed to facilitate social interaction, with an iPad controlling the AV system, a card table, and seating arrangements that encourage gathering and conversation.

Accommodation

Fortitude is designed to host up to 10 guests in a refined and comfortable setting. The yacht features five well-appointed guest suites, each crafted to ensure privacy and relaxation for all who come aboard.

The owner's suite features double doors that open to reveal a space where light and dark finishes are balanced to create an inviting atmosphere. Large windows offer guests sweeping views, enhancing the sense of connection with the surrounding seascape. The suite is equipped with abundant storage, a dressing table, and audio-visual equipment for personal entertainment. An en suite bathroom accompanies the owner's suite, complete with a whirlpool bath, shower, bidet, and toilet, offering a private retreat for the yacht's owner.

Additional guest accommodations include two double cabins and one twin bunked cabin, each with their own en suite bathrooms that boast twin sinks and showers. These cabins are fashioned to deliver comfort and convenience to guests staying aboard.

The VIP cabin rivals the owner's suite in terms of luxury and size, providing an exceptional space for guests. It is almost as generously appointed as the owner’s accommodation, underscoring the yacht's commitment to guest comfort.

Crew quarters are separate from the guest areas, ensuring privacy for all on board. The crew accommodations include a cabin for the chief engineer, a crew mess area, pantry, laundry facilities, and three additional twin cabins, all housing up to seven. Each space is efficiently laid out and includes monitoring systems and storage, allowing the crew to maintain the highest standards of service.

The captain has a dedicated cabin and office adjacent to the bridge, featuring ample storage and an en suite bathroom. This ensures that the captain and officers have the necessary space and amenities to manage yacht operations effectively.
