  • Shaded cockpit with flybridge overhang
  • Two helm stations with 360-degree view
  • Swim platform and foredeck sun pads
  • Flybridge with hardtop, settees, and grill

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 20' beam and a 6' draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 99 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Lady Helen features a classic clipper bow, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and seaworthiness. The hull is painted in a crisp white, matching the superstructure, which creates a cohesive and clean look. Below the waterline, the yacht is painted black, a traditional choice that complements the overall design.

Lady Helen is accessed through boarding gates on both the port and starboard sides. The cockpit area is shaded by the flybridge overhang and has a teak deck. It includes an L-shaped settee and two chairs centered around a custom high-gloss teak table with brass inlay, providing seating for up to six guests. A wet bar with a refrigerator and TV, along with a custom cleaning locker, are positioned forward in the cockpit. The swim platform facilitates easy access to the water, while the foredeck offers a forward-facing bench-style settee and two sun pads for relaxation.

The flybridge is accessible via a spiral staircase from the cockpit or a set of stairs from the wheelhouse. It includes two C-shaped settees with tables to port and a Lynx two-burner grill for outdoor cooking. A starboard side wet bar with barstools is available for refreshments, and a starboard side bench-style settee offers additional seating. The aft flybridge deck is equipped with a Nautical Structures 1500 davit for tender operations, making it easy to transport guests to a nearby private beach.

Lady Helen is equipped with two helm stations—one in the raised pilothouse and another on the flybridge. A set of stairs connects the pilothouse to the flybridge, allowing for easy transition between control stations. The flybridge helm area features two helm chairs and provides a 360-degree view.

Interior Design

The interior design of Lady Helen prioritizes functionality and comfort. The near-full-beam salon is illuminated by natural light from numerous side windows. Guests can relax on the L-shaped sofa aft and to starboard, alongside two barrel chairs, providing ample seating. The entertainment center on the port side includes a flat-screen TV and a Bose surround-sound system. A wine cooler is also available, allowing guests to enjoy a bottle of wine while deciding between a formal dinner at the dinette or an alfresco meal in the cockpit or on the flybridge.

The galley features a country kitchen forward with granite countertops and a double stainless-steel sink. It is equipped with full-size appliances, ensuring that meal preparation is convenient and efficient. The dinette in the galley accommodates six guests for breakfast or casual dining.

Accommodation

Lady Helen offers refined and comfortable accommodation for up to eight guests across four en suite staterooms. The master stateroom, accessible via a mid-salon stairway to starboard, spans the full beam of the yacht and features a king-size berth. Storage is plentiful with cedar-lined closets on both sides of the berth and a portside chest of drawers that includes a vanity. Entertainment is provided by a flat-screen TV.

Forward of the master stateroom, two guest staterooms are situated to port and starboard. Each guest stateroom is equipped with two twin-sized berths, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. Storage options include drawers beneath one of the berths, a chest of drawers, and a cedar-lined closet.

The VIP stateroom, with a double-size berth, can be accessed via a private entrance located below the aft deck. This offers an added level of privacy for those occupying this space.

Crew accommodation is found forward, accessed by a stairway from the galley. This area consists of two single berths at the bow and a head with a walk-in shower. The captain's quarters, featuring a full-size berth, are located further aft and to port. Additional amenities in the crew area include a stacked washer and dryer, along with extra refrigeration and freezer capacity.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Detroit Diesel (8V 92) 600hp engines, motor yacht Lady Helen is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
