The Iguana Knight is an amphibious RIB tender that builds upon the success of the Iguana X100, released in 2018. Its rigid hull combines the functional capability of a RIB tender, with the freedom, convenience and fun of an amphibious tender.
Iguana’s amphibious tracks allow the Iguana Knight to easily climb a wide variety of terrain, from soft sand and wet mud to uneven rocks and pebbled beaches. The tracks can tackle straight 29% inclines and, on beaches, up to a 45% incline. The tracks fold away into the hull when you are in the water and then deploy with the press of a button as you head to shore.
Measuring 9.44m (31ft) and with a beam of 3.4m (11ft), the tender has a spacious deck that can accommodate up to 12 people. It comes equipped with heads as standard. High-sided and with a helm console that can be folded down, it offers good protection against the elements. The twin 300hp engines give a top speed of 48 knots on water, whilst it has a maximum ground speed of 6.5km/h.
Several premium features come as standard, including touchscreen electronics, a surround sound system, and premium upholstery. There are also options to customize the tender to further suit your needs including a choice of engines and mobility systems, shock-mitigating seats, LED transom lights, and more. The tender is available in five different color themes.
The Iguana Knight has been designed for use as either a chase boat for a small superyacht or as a tender for a large megayacht. It also makes a great option as a dayboat for owners of waterfront properties who wish to embark directly from their homes.
After the huge success of the X100, Iguana experienced an unprecedented demand for a more luxurious RIB built to a higher specification. That’s why we launched The Iguana Knight.
