British shipyard Princess Yachts have kept much of the process under wraps, but now the new Superfly model has been launched, showcasing a deep V hull and an overall contemporary appeal.
Featuring design collaborations from British naval architecture office Olesinski and Italian design house Pininfarina, the new Princess X95 is designed for long distance travel and claims to have a 15% increase in efficiency thanks to the deep V shaped wave piercing bow on the hull.
Further enabling smooth transitions from cruising to maximum speeds, the extended waterline also continues underneath the swim platform, engaging optimal performance at all times.
The Superfly element of the X95 is nothing less than extravagant. With the vessel measuring up at nearly 22 metres, the flybridge is over double the size of a standard fly from the same size range.
The increased amount of space can also be seen through the interiors, with a promised extension of 40% volume throughout the interior layout of the vessel.
Standard layouts for the X95 include a composition of all guest accommodation being situated on the lower deck, with one full beam master amidships plus two twin and a VIP located forward. The extended main deck has a spacious main salon with a roomy galley and dinette area, which can alternatively be constructed as a main deck master or an observation deck.
Powered by two MAN V12 engines, the maximum speed for the X95 is advertised as 26 knots.
