Nick begins on the hi-lo platform that can support a tender or jetski, then points out the passerelle, which can be used for direct access to the quay when berthed.
There is a sun pad and seating arrangement on the back of the yacht, great for relaxation. He commends the practicality of the yacht's layout, which he thinks is perfect for family management.
The forward seating area has a sunbathing space with thoughtful details such as cup holders. Located here also points is the anchoring kit. On the flybridge, he highlights the double helm, sunbathing area, seating, barbecue, and sink. He also mentions the large dining area and the open space at the rear of the flybridge.
Interior
The galley, positioned at the back, links well with the saloon and cockpit. The finishes on the boat are contrasting dark gloss and pale matte wood.
The yacht features big windows, a hi-lo TV, and an opening window at the helm. Nick loves the double helm seat with lift bolsters for ease of access to the side door. He's also impressed with the twin screens showing the rear view and engine instrumentation.
Walking through the VIP cabin, there are sliding doors that save space when open. The cabin includes a dressing table area, big windows, and a hatch overhead. The ensuite has a high-quality finish. He continues to the day heads and another ensuite-linked cabin, noting the large wardrobe and excellent headroom.
Nick points out the hatches in the floor, explaining that these provide access to the boat's systems, such as plumbing and wiring. He admires the master cabin with its contrasting materials and textures, large wardrobe, and ensuite. In the ensuite, he highlights an electronically controlled privacy window that doubles as a mirror.
Crew Accommodation
The crew cabin, located under the sun pad for extra headroom, contains two berths, a large window, and a toilet compartment.
Performance
In the the engine compartment, the boat has Volvo Penta IPS-950 engines, fuel tanks, battery banks, and generator. It is estimated the Absolute 62 can reach speeds of up to 32 knots.
