On Deck
The stern has a dual-purpose bathing platform, which can flip over flush against the back of the boat or pivot down. The platform also has a garage that can accommodate a Williams 325 and a jet ski, both of which can be easily deployed into the water via cradles and a slipway.
The cockpit area also impresses, with its large sun pad and seating around a sizable table, making it an ideal space for outdoor dining or relaxation. The cockpit also features a well-equipped wet bar with a barbecue, fridge, and ice maker.
The yacht’s flybridge is a great bonus upstairs, providing an additional helm position and seating area.
Interior
Inside the yacht, Nick appreciates the tasteful design, noting the large windows that allow plenty of light into the open and comfortable living space. The helm position is outfitted with a single helm seat (although an option for two is available) and features Raymarine multifunction displays and controls for the IPS joystick and bow thruster. The helm also benefits from a sliding sunroof, providing an open-air feel while remaining sheltered by the windscreen.
The lower deck of the yacht comprises four ensuite cabins, including a VIP cabin with impressive headroom and a dressing table. Nick is particularly fond of the owner's cabin, praising its quality, color, and finish along with the large ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe.
Crew Accommodation
In the yacht’s crew area, there are two cabins, laundry facilities, and a separate shower and toilet.
Performance
The yacht is driven by three 1,000 horsepower Volvo Penta IPS-1350 engines, which allow it to reach speeds of up to 35 knots. In the engine space, the Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and twin generators are further highlighted. The amount of equipment and amenities packed into this sports cruiser is particularly impressive, and is often found in larger yachts.
In Summary
Overall, Nick seems very impressed with the Azimut 77S, particularly its smart configuration, tasteful interior, and impressive performance, while also noting its high level of specifications.
