On Deck

Nick finds the layout of the Majesty 111 particularly interesting, beginning the tour at the cockpit via the passerelle, where he highlights the great dining area and the glass transom that offers a stunning view across the water.

There is an upper cockpit bar area with a louvered cover which can be angled for light or shade.  This is a large open area with sunbathing spots towards the stern.

Side decks lead from the upper cockpit around to the foredeck with a hot tub and a beautiful seating area.  The floor of the hot tub is glass and this provides diffused natural light into the owner's cabin.

At the stern, there is the tender garage and bathing platform, with clever mechanisms for tender storage and launch.

Interior

The interior has a light and bright design that remains classy, avoiding the cheap look that sometimes accompanies such aesthetics. Nick points out how the lighting adds to the ambiance and proudly shows off the yacht's award for "2023 World Yacht Best Interior Design."

On the main deck, a main feature is a skylight that introduces natural light into the space. The master cabin is on the main deck and this benefits from the natural light from the skylight and massive windows. The cabin features a walk-in wardrobe leading to a bathroom adorned with lovely marble and a massive shower.

Descending to the lower deck, there are five cabins instead of the expected four, all having a good size and tasteful color scheme. The VIP cabin is spacious and unusual for a yacht of this size, bringing the total to six cabins including the owner's cabin.

On the upper deck, there is a sky lounge with a large TV, ideal for a cinema area. He also mentions the bar area and the cleverly placed stairs that optimize the deck space.

The bridge area is well-equipped with navigation and control systems, offering a fantastic view, particularly from the forward-sloping windows.

The galley features stainless steel fittings and ample refrigeration with its own access to the exterior, providing a direct walkway to the crew accommodations.

Crew Accommodation

The crew quarters is accessed via a side deck and features a mess area, a captain's cabin, two crew cabins, and ensuite facilities.

Performance

In the engine space, the Majesty 111 is powered by two MAN V12 diesels, each producing 1,900 horsepower, allowing for a top speed of around 20 knots and a cruising range of about 1,300 nautical miles at 12 knots.

In Summary

Throughout the tour, Nick is pleased with the yacht's accommodations, particularly the six-cabin layout and the amount of natural light. His tour concludes with an appreciation of the Majesty 111's layout and accommodation capabilities, which he finds exceptional for a yacht of its size.
