On Deck

The tour begins with stepping onto the bathing platform of the boat, highlighted features are the passerelle, a large locker containing a life raft and ropes, and a wet bar fitted with a barbecue. There is a decent-sized cockpit and a unique seating arrangement that allows for backward-facing views. A canopy system covers the cockpit, featuring innovative perspex screens for shelter.

The Riviera Open 39 Flybridge is available in a non-flybridge SUV version as well. The spacious side decks and sunbathing area on the bow are also highlighted. The yacht has a sport fishing vibe due to its open cockpit and brow over the windscreen. On the flybridge, there are versatile seating arrangements, an impressive helm position, and a stainless steel wheel. A wet bar and fridge are also located here.

Interior

The yacht's interior, with the composite flooring catches attention. The galley has a single hob, microwave, large fridge, and plenty of storage spaces. The saloon area is opposite the kitchen and can be converted into a sleeping area if needed.

At the helm station, there is another seating area and a TV that can rotate out. The lift bolsters on the seats and the multifunction displays are shown, along with a joystick for close-quarters maneuvering. An interesting feature is a chain counter at the helm for anchoring.

The tour continues with a look at the two cabins and one day head on the yacht. The high-gloss woodworking in the cabins is found to be quite classy. There are lots of storage options, ventilation, and ensuite access in the owner's cabin. The second cabin also impresses with its storage capabilities, despite the headroom dropping significantly in the sleeping area.

Performance

The engine room can be conveniently accessed and features Volvo Penta D6 IPS-600s 425hp engines. These engines can propel the yacht to approximately 34 knots. Cruising at 29 knots will provide a range of up to 280 nautical miles, whilst dropping down to an economic 6 knots, the yacht can achieve up to 1,000 nautical miles.
