The model Arcadia Sherpa 60 was the winner of the Motorboat Of The Year in 2016 at the Vela e Motore.
A project outside the box that reinterprets the theme of the service and work boat with a vision that launches the premises for the creation of a new typo logical and market niche.
The enhancement of the outdoor space eradicates the concept of separation between the cockpit and the internal living room which becomes, instead, an equipped and multifunctional continuum. Despite the relatively small size and the great role played by the external spaces, the project coherently resolves the habitability of the interiors as well as the spaces reserved for the crew.
The solution adopted for the closing the fly by sliding glass amplifies the versatility of this space by thinking of its use in different contexts and situations. The level of finishes and attention to detail are good for a project that probably does not have the ambition to chase large production and sales volumes, but which at a time of market recovery contributes positively to fueling the debate on possible lines of development through a courageous and lucid design experimentation.
