Delivered in 2022, Aily is a 170'7" motor yacht built by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Officina Italiana Design, while her interiors are the work of Mauro Micheli.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 29'2" beam and a 9'10" draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. This was the sixth yacht built on the 52Steel design. Launched in June 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in January 2022.
Exterior Design
Yacht Aily is the sixth installment in the successful Sanlorenzo 52 STEEL series.
A high-raked bow leads to an area reserved for anchoring and mooring hardware, then extends to a spacious guest area adorned with sun pads and U-shaped seating with a table. The sleek profile displays large banks of glazing that create a visual contrast against the white superstructure. The hull features several portholes ensuring the interiors are flooded with natural light.
At the stern, twin stairways descend to a short fixed bathing platform, and from here, the innovative beach club is accessed. This expansive waterside area is fully revealed by opening the large tender door and the side balconies, providing access on three sides; natural light floods in from above through the glass-bottomed pool on the main deck aft. Occupying the same space as the beach club, the float-in tender garage on the Sanlorenzo 52Steel eliminates the need for separate areas, resulting in an impressively large beach club that can accommodate a much larger tender than usual, including the option for an eight-meter limousine. Once docked inside the yacht, guests are shielded from the elements, ensuring safe disembarkation.
At the top of the yacht, the sundeck boasts an array of amenities, including sun loungers, plush seating, a spacious dining table accommodating up to 12 guests, and a fully stocked bar. Shade is provided by the sleek black carbon canopy of the radar mast, elegantly raked backward.
Accommodation
Aily offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in six suites comprising an owner's cabin located on the main deck, three VIP cabins, and two double cabins. Up to nine crew are onboard to ensure full guest service.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512CL) 1,900hp engines, motor yacht Aily is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 14,529 gallon fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,400 nautical miles at 11 knots.
Amenities
The yacht can house plenty of nautical toys and accessories, with a well-appointed tender garage for storing her impressive locker. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort.
