Amo is a 47m expedition yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2019. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 2.45m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2016. This was the second yacht built on the 500Exp design. Launched in May 2019 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2019.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Amo features a raked bow, providing a sleek and dynamic profile. The deck is crafted from durable teak, ensuring both functionality and a classic appearance. The hull is painted black, creating a striking contrast with the white superstructure. The boot top also maintains a white color, adding to the clean, sophisticated look. Below the waterline, the hull is painted black, maintaining consistency in the yacht's aesthetic. This straightforward design approach highlights the practical and refined nature of the yacht's exterior.
Accommodation
Amo offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (8V 4000 M63) 8-cylinder 1,341hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Amo is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots.
Amenities
In addition, a beach club allows for easy access to the water and allows those on board to easily unwind. The yacht features a tender garage with storage for a range of toys and accessories.
