Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 24'1" beam and a 7'9" draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 282 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2010. This was the fourth yacht built on the Custom Line 124' design. Launched in February 2013 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in April 2013.
Exterior Design
Argento features expansive deck spaces that cater to relaxation and social gatherings. The fold-down balconies off the main salon extend the living area outdoors, providing an airy, open feel on the main deck.
At the aft, a full beam teak swim platform offers easy access to the water, complemented by a large dive center garage that converts into a beach club. This area is practical for water activities and relaxation, equipped with 20 dive tanks and a Nitrox system. The garage's design allows for efficient use of space, making it a hub for aquatic enjoyment.
The aft deck includes a comfortable lounge area with ample seating for up to 12 guests. Moving forward, the bow area features a U-shaped sitting area with a high-low table and a retractable canvas bimini for shade, suitable for both informal gatherings and quiet relaxation.
The upper deck provides a balance between functionality and leisure, featuring U-shaped couches and sliding doors that connect the interior and exterior dining areas. The Sky Deck above is equipped with a large sun pad and a small upper helm, offering panoramic views and additional lounging space.
Interior Design
The interior of Argento uses of satin wood and soft grey décor to provide a contemporary and refined atmosphere. Large windows allow natural light to flood the spaces, creating an airy and bright environment.
The main salon is a large and inviting area with fold-down balconies that enhance the alfresco feel of the main deck. This space is designed for relaxation and entertainment, with comfortable seating arrangements including a built-in settee, a couch, and two oversized chairs that accommodate up to 12 guests.
The galley is situated forward to port, designed with efficiency and practicality in mind. Its proximity to the formal dining area ensures seamless service. The skylounge on the upper deck is another key feature, offering a relaxed environment with U-shaped couches. Sliding doors open up to the exterior dining area, allowing these spaces to merge, providing a versatile area for both indoor and outdoor enjoyment.
Accommodation
The yacht Argento accommodates up to 10 guests in five well-appointed cabins, providing a comfortable and refined setting for all aboard. The owner's suite is located on the main deck, positioned forward to take advantage of ample natural light streaming in through large windows.
Below the main deck, four additional guest cabins are situated on the lower deck. Each cabin has an en-suite, affording guests private facilities and a serene environment.
For the yacht’s crew of up to seven, accommodations are thoughtfully placed forward on the lower deck. The crew quarters are accessible through a private entrance off of the galley, ensuring efficient service and discrete operations throughout the yacht.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M93) 3,510hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Argento is capable of reaching a top speed of 25 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
