Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.1m beam and a 2.33m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 348 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in late 2018. This was the fifth yacht built on the Navetta 42 design. She was delivered to her owners in July 2020.
Exterior Design
Pristine in white, the glazing and trim provide contrast along the profile. A bold black bootstrap defines the water's edge, while glazing and portholes invite natural light into the lower deck accommodation areas. A drop-down side balcony amidships on the main deck level offers a secluded haven over the water and enhances the light into the main salon when lowered. Prominent gunwale openings define the deck level.
Forward on the main deck, a large seating area with sun pads creates a superb forward-facing spacious guest area. Sun pads are even positioned right on the bow forward of the smartly inset anchoring and deck hardware. The Portuguese bridge deck layout ensures convenience throughout movement around the deck, with a bench benefiting from the shade of the sun deck overhang by the bridge deck windows.
An almost vertical stern features twin staircases from the main deck aft, leading to a short bathing platform that extends when the transom door is lowered, revealing the beach club. The teak deck extends from the stern around the sides to almost amidships, providing a short platform from which to access tender or water toys moored alongside. Ascending to the main deck aft, a countertop with three bar stools faces aft, followed by comfortable seating options. An integrated stairway on the port side leads to the upper deck aft guest area.
Stylish corner seating pads, large sofas, and a spacious oval al fresco dining table, shaded by the sundeck, define this stunning aft deck space. A curved staircase on the port side leads to the sun deck, where a bar, dining tables, sofas, and sun loungers offer elevated views. Forward of the deck, a large square jacuzzi pool is raised with a sun pad surround.
Interior Design
Asante features a spacious open-plan main saloon with floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors, maximizing natural light. Her modern interior includes a conversation area with a bar, flowing into a comfortable lounge. The open layout also offers a dining area with seating for up to eight guests.
The neutral color palette, highlighted with ocean green, complements the light wooden flooring and mid-wood wall panels. A fluted bar with floor illumination stands out opposite large, comfortable sofas and a games table. The glass-topped dining table, with chamfered edges, seats eight guests comfortably. Cream leather chairs with woven back designs enhance the dining area. Matching cabinetry subtly divides the two spaces, echoing the bar's ocean green and fluted design.
The cabins maintain a calm, neutral palette with cream and soft greys throughout. Beds feature subtle floor illumination as a focal point, while pewter tones in fixtures and fittings add gentle contrast.
The upper deck salon features ginger dining armchairs by Poltrona Frau near the entrance from the upper deck aft. A large L-shaped seating area precedes a bar with a fluted front and gloss sides that reflect light. Three bar stools offer guests a spot to enjoy the wide open side views.
Accommodation
Asante offers accommodations for up to 10 guests. The layout includes a total of five staterooms, ensuring ample space and privacy for all on board.
The on-deck master cabin is particularly spacious and designed with elegance in mind. This suite features a king-size bed, large windows that provide plenty of natural light, and a walk-in closet. The ensuite bathroom is equipped with a his-and-hers layout, including a pass-through shower, providing both convenience and luxury.
On the lower deck, there are four additional guest cabins. These cabins are well-appointed and designed for maximum comfort. Two of the forward cabins offer a convertible bed option, allowing the beds to be separated into two singles if necessary. The aft cabins each feature a king-size bed, offering a consistent level of comfort throughout.
The crew quarters are designed to house up to eight crew members. The crew area includes a dining space, laundry facilities, and comfortable sleeping arrangements, with each cabin fitted with two bunks. Additionally, the captain’s cabin is conveniently located near the wheelhouse and features a queen-size bed, providing a private and comfortable space for the captain.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 12-cylinder 1,622hp engines, motor yacht Asante is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 11 knots.
