Delivered in 2001, Berilda is a 47.1m motor yacht for sale built by Dutch shipyard Feadship. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of De Voogt, while John Munford is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.8m beam and a 2.92m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 498 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in early 1999. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. She was delivered to her owners in April 2001.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the yacht Berilda is characterized by a raked bow and a blue hull. The superstructure is painted white, providing a stark contrast to the hull. A red boot top stripe adds a touch of distinction along the waterline, while the area below the waterline is black. The deck is made from teak, known for its durability and resistance to the elements. 

The sun deck features a sit-up wet bar, a Jacuzzi surrounded by wrap-around sun pads, and a lounge area. Guests can enjoy music through the deck's speaker system. LED deck lights and sunshade umbrellas provide additional comfort and convenience.

Interior Design

The interior design of the motor yacht Berilda emphasizes sophistication and timeless style. The main saloon features blue furnishings and mahogany wall paneling, creating an inviting ambiance. The room includes an antique-style glass coffee table and unique yellow armchairs. The main saloon connects to a formal dining room located forward.

The bridge deck's lounge and bar area open out to an al fresco dining table, providing a smooth transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The interior design maintains a consistent aesthetic across all areas, with a focus on cream tones and green and blue furnishings. The attention to detail is evident in the patterned cushions and carefully designed furniture scattered throughout the yacht.

Berilda's galley is designed for efficiency and practicality, equipped with modern appliances and ample storage. The helm is outfitted with the latest navigation technology, ensuring safe and efficient travel. The state-of-the-art AV/IT system enhances the overall experience for guests on board.

Accommodation

Berilda can accommodate up to 14 guests across five staterooms. The owner's suite is positioned forward on the main deck. This stateroom features traditional overhead beams and mahogany furniture. The room is centered around a king-sized bed and includes a comfortable sofa and expansive windows. A smaller adjacent cabin, designed for a young child, includes a built-in cot upholstered in baby-blue satin and a folding Pullman berth.

The guest cabins are located on the lower deck and include two double cabins and two twin cabins. Each double cabin boasts a marble bathroom with double basins and a full-sized bathtub. These rooms are paneled in high-quality Honduras mahogany, providing a warm and elegant atmosphere. The twin cabins also feature Pullman beds, making them suitable for various guest needs.

Berilda also includes space for a crew of 10 members, including the captain.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508) 986hp engines, motor yacht Berilda is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 78,500 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,600 nautical miles at 10 knots.
