Big Easy is a 44.9m motor yacht for sale delivered by Dutch shipyard Hakvoort in 2002. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Diana Yacht Design, while Winch Design is responsible for her interior design.

Design & Construction
Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.76m beam and a 2.79m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 491 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Big Easy is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The clipper bow shape enhances its performance in various sea conditions, providing a smooth and stable ride. The deck, made from high-quality teak, offers durability and a classic maritime appearance. Both the hull and the superstructure are finished in a crisp white color, contributing to a clean and timeless look. The boot top and below-waterline areas are painted black, creating a distinct contrast with the white hull.
The sun deck is a prominent area, equipped with a large raised jacuzzi at the front, surrounded by sunpads. This area also includes open-air dining partially shaded by a hardtop, with buffet bars on either side, and two lounge areas along with additional sun lounging space at the rear.
The boat deck is designed to stow tenders and toys during passage, utilizing deck cranes on both sides. This setup creates a spacious and adaptable guest deck area. Under the overhang, two C-shaped lounges offer a second open-air dining option.
The main deck also features walkaround side decks, connecting the large lounge area at the back with an intimate seating area at the front. From the main deck, steps on the port side lead down to the swim platform.
Interior Design
The interior design of Big Easy is understated yet elegant, featuring satin-finished wood and neutral-tone fabrics accented by pastel blue artworks and soft furnishings. The main saloon, well-suited for entertaining, offers large picture windows that allow natural light to flood the space. It includes C-shaped seating aft and a gaming table to port, positioned forward of the steps leading to the lower deck guest lobby.
Forward of the main saloon is a formal dining room that seats up to 12 guests. The sky lounge offers additional relaxation options with an L-shaped sofa to starboard, a gaming table opposite, and a bar. Double doors open from the sky lounge to the boat deck's dining and entertainment areas, providing a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Accommodation
Big Easy accommodates up to twelve guests across six well-appointed staterooms. The owner's suite is located forward on the main deck and includes a separate lounge that doubles as a private gym. The en suite bathroom in the owner's suite features both a bathtub and a shower, offering a comfortable and private retreat.
The lower deck hosts the remaining guest cabins. Here, you will find three queen staterooms, each with en suite facilities. Additionally, there is a convertible stateroom that can be configured with either two single twin beds or one king-sized double bed, providing flexibility to suit different guest needs. The sixth cabin is a bunk cabin with twin beds, also equipped with its own en suite.
She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3508B - DITA) 950hp engines running at 1650rpm, motor yacht Big Easy is capable of reaching a top speed of 14 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots. With her 57,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 5,000 nautical miles at 12 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.
