Chanson is a 36.6m motor yacht delivered by Christensen in 1995. Her naval architecture and exterior design comes from the drawing boards of Christensen.

Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement composite hull and a GRP superstructure she features a 8.1m beam and a 2.1m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 296 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in mid 1991. This was the twelfth yacht built on the Custom design. Launched in December 1994 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in February 1995.

Accommodation

Chanson offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 1 VIP cabin, 1 double cabin and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 8 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412C-DITA) 12-cylinder 1,000hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Chanson is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 30,283 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 2,986 nautical miles. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.

Amenities

The yacht features a well-equipped gym, allowing her guests to keep up their fitness regimes at sea. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Chanson also features deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
