Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.65m beam and a 2.75m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 469 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Diamare features a raked bow, which contributes to its sleek and modern profile. The deck is crafted from high-quality teak, adding a touch of classic maritime craftsmanship. The hull and superstructure are both painted in a pristine white, offering a clean and cohesive look. The boot top adds a touch of color with a blue stripe, while below the waterline, the hull is painted black.
The large aft deck and sun deck provide ample space for outdoor activities. The sun deck is equipped with a jacuzzi, offering a comfortable spot for relaxation. Dining areas on the deck are sleek and practical, designed for both casual and formal meals.
The stern is equipped with a practical, integrated bathing platform that facilitates easy access to the water or tenders and serves as a functional entrance to the lazarette.
Interior Design
Starting with the main saloon, the design incorporates an Oriental influence, featuring Chinese lacquered panels that depict cherry blossoms and butterflies. These panels are set against a backdrop of pale, limed oak, with darker mahogany columns adding contrast. The saloon opens to the aft deck through wide, glazed sliding doors, enhancing the sense of space and connectivity.
The galley is a modern, efficient space designed for functionality. It features stainless steel appliances, Corian work surfaces, and a traditional slab of white Carrara marble for pastry making. Located adjacent to the starboard side deck entrance doors, it serves as a practical and accessible area for meal preparation.
On the bridge deck, the upper saloon offers a wealth of curves and circles, blending with comfortable furniture, pale colors, and wide views to create a relaxing environment. Large windows and off-white carpets enhance the brightness of the room. Curved double doors can be opened to unite the saloon with the spacious boat deck, providing an excellent exterior view.
The helm is designed for both functionality and comfort. The black leather fascia is trimmed with teak and fronted by an unusual tractor-style helmsman's seat. The pilothouse features a compact, ergonomic layout with twin Furuno ARPA radars, a Plath gyrocompass, autopilot, and engine readouts. The VHF radio, throttles, and Simrad chart plotter are within easy reach. A unique design feature allows the plotter's keyboard to be stowed vertically, covered by an almost unnoticeable plate when not in use.
