Myko is a 47m expedition yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2021. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design, while Zuccon has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.6m beam and a 2.75m draft. The yacht has an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2018. This was the third yacht built on the 500Exp design. Launched in May 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2021.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Myko, crafted by Francesco Paszkowski, is a study in modern aesthetics. The yacht features clean, contemporary lines that complement its custom metallic grey hull, developed by Sanlorenzo. Measuring 47 meters in length, Myko is part of the Sanlorenzo 500 EXP model, distinguished by its extended aft deck. This deck is large enough to accommodate a small touch-and-go helipad, providing additional functionality and setting it apart from other yachts in its series.

The yacht's design is practical, with an imposing profile reminiscent of large explorer vessels. This design choice maximizes storage space, allowing for the stowage of a tender or even a sailing yacht up to 9 meters in length. The lower deck includes a beach club with a bar, which can open and fold to create a terrace overlooking the sea, or convert into a garage for tenders up to seven meters.

Accommodation

Myko offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin located on the main deck, 2 VIP cabins and 2 cabins that can operate as twins or doubles. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32 ACERT) 12-cylinder 1,301hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Myko is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 13 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Myko also features a deck jacuzzi for cooling off.
