Delivered in 2021, Oceanbird is a 53m motor yacht for sale built by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. She features exterior design by Officina Italiana Design and interior styling by Vickers Studio.

Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.35m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2017 with the keel laid under the project name 'Toute Sweet'. This was the third yacht built on the 52Steel design. Launched in July 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2021.
Exterior Design
Oceanbird is the third installment in the Sanlorenzo 52 STEEL series, featuring a slight length increase to 53m. Distinguished by her striking blue hull, a departure from the traditional white, she offers a captivating contrast against her white superstructure. A high-raked bow leads to a guest space on the foredeck, primarily reserved for anchoring and mooring hardware, then extends to a spacious guest area adorned with sun pads and U-shaped seating with a table.
At the stern, twin stairways descend to a short fixed bathing platform and, from here, the innovative beach club is accessed. This expansive waterside area is fully revealed by reopening the large tender door and the side balconies, providing access on three sides and allowing natural light to flood in from above through the glass-bottomed pool on the main deck aft. Occupying the same space as the beach club, the float-in tender garage on the Sanlorenzo 52Steel eliminates the need for separate areas, resulting in an impressively large beach club that can accommodate a much larger tender than usual, including the option for an eight-meter limousine. Once docked inside the yacht, guests are shielded from the elements, ensuring safe disembarkation.
At the top of the yacht, the sundeck boasts an array of amenities, including sun loungers, plush seating, a spacious dining table accommodating up to 12 guests, and a fully stocked bar. Adding to the ambiance, shade is provided by the sleek black carbon canopy of the radar mast, elegantly raked backward.
Interior Design
The interior of Oceanbird integrates features such as rounded walls, which eliminate straight lines and edges to create a distinct flowing sensation throughout the interior spaces.
One notable aspect of Oceanbird's interior is the choice of materials. Alabaster is prominently used for the guest staircase and walls, providing an illuminated and sophisticated ambiance. The bathrooms are finished with onyx and marble, adding to the sleek and refined look. Indirect lighting is strategically placed below beds, furniture, and within the ceiling to enhance the overall atmosphere. Backlit onyx and marble stonework further elevate the elegance, while a backlit alabaster staircase serves as a focal point within the yacht.
The main salon features side panels made of fully lighted alabaster, contributing to its bright and inviting environment. The furniture selection includes pieces from renowned designers such as Ellie Saab, Boca Do Lobo, and Minotti, complemented by Paola Lenti outdoor furniture. The cigar lounge is adorned with selenite panels and various design artifacts, offering a unique space for relaxation.
Accommodation
The Oceanbird yacht is equipped to host up to 10 guests across five well-appointed staterooms. Central to its accommodation offering is the owner's penthouse suite, positioned on the bridge deck. This suite provides an exclusive retreat with a spacious floor plan, including a Carrara marble bathroom, a standalone bathtub with breathtaking sea views, and a 30-square-meter walk-in wardrobe. The owner’s duite also features a private aft deck with a fireplace and a cigar lounge.
Oceanbird also includes two large VIP staterooms. The first VIP stateroom is located on the main deck and features an onyx bathroom and an adjacent office with expansive ocean views. The second VIP suite, found on the lower deck, is full-beam, offering a walk-in closet, an office, and a glass-wall shower. Additionally, the yacht offers two double guest cabins on the lower deck, each fitted with luxurious onyx bathrooms.
In terms of crew accommodations, Oceanbird houses 12 crew members in six cabins, ensuring a high crew-to-guest ratio for exceptional service. The captain's cabin is located below decks to maintain privacy for the Owner. An additional crew cabin is situated in the gym area.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000M 93L) 12-cylinder 3,508hp engines running at 2100rpm, motor yacht Oceanbird is capable of reaching a top speed of 19 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 66,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. Her semi-displacement hull design means she offers a great balance of space and speed.
