Oras is a 52m motor yacht delivered by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2021. The yacht's elegant exterior design is by Officina Italiana Design, while her interiors are the work of Tiziana Vercellesi.

Design & Construction

Designed around a displacement w/ bulbous bow steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.35m beam and a 2.65m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2018. This was the fifth yacht built on the 52Steel design. Launched in January 2021 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in July 2021.

Exterior Design

Oras is the fifth installment in the successful Sanlorenzo 52 STEEL series. A high-raked bow leads to an area reserved for anchoring and mooring hardware, which then leads to a spacious guest area with sun pads and U-shaped seating with a table. The sleek profile displays large banks of glazing that create a visual contrast against the white superstructure. The hull features several portholes ensuring the interiors are flooded with natural light.

At the stern, twin stairways descend to a short fixed bathing platform, and from here, the innovative beach club is accessed. This expansive waterside area is fully revealed by opening the large tender door and the side balconies, providing access on three sides; natural light floods in from above through the glass-bottomed pool on the main deck aft.

Occupying the same space as the beach club, the float-in tender garage on the Sanlorenzo 52Steel eliminates the need for separate areas, resulting in an impressively large beach club that can accommodate a much larger tender than usual, including the option for an 8m limousine tender. Once docked inside the yacht, guests are shielded from the elements, ensuring safe disembarkation.

At the top of the yacht, the sundeck boasts an array of amenities, including sun loungers, plush seating, a spacious dining table accommodating up to 12 guests, and a stylish bar. Shade is provided by the sleek black carbon canopy of the radar mast, elegantly raked backward.

Accommodation

Oras offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in 6 suites comprising an owners cabin, 3 VIP cabins and 2 double cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel MTU (12V 4000 M63) 12-cylinder 2,012hp engines running at 1800rpm, motor yacht Oras is capable of reaching a top speed of 17 knots, and comfortably cruises at 15 knots. With her 55,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economic speed of 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

In addition, a swim platform provides easy access to the ocean. Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort and an elevator makes the yacht fully-accessible. Crowning the yacht is a spacious sundeck with an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
