Design & Construction
Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 7.72m beam and a 1.67m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 282 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2011. Launched in November 2012 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in August 2013.
Exterior Design
The exterior design of Finish Line is characterized by a raised pilothouse profile, offering a sporty and streamlined appearance. The yacht features a raked bow, lending an aggressive and forward-leaning stance that contributes to its dynamic presence. The hull and superstructure, both crafted from aluminum, are painted in a clean white color, which contrasts sharply with the black boot top and waterline colors.
The exterior styling integrates a forward fashion plate, creating a masculine high bow typically seen in tri-deck designs. The hardtop on the flying bridge is designed for functionality, providing ample shade with canopies extending from it. This design decision ensures both aesthetic coherence and practical comfort for those on board. The yacht’s flybridge, inspired by the ambiance of a Miami club lounge, is equipped with a glass-tiled bar and ultra-comfortable sofas, prioritizing relaxation and social interaction. The main aft deck table and the two tables on the flybridge feature dimmable lights, enhancing their usability during different times of the day.
Attention to detail extends to the exterior lighting and ventilation, with oversized air handlers installed to ensure a comfortable cruising experience. Adjustable nozzles on the aft deck blow cold air, making it more pleasant to enjoy alfresco activities even in the warm Bahamian climate.
Interior Design
The main salon features ocean-inspired colors, with a wave pattern in the dining chair fabric that is echoed in the custom carpet. The bar area stands out with its backlit stone, made from rare smoky quartz sourced from India, creating a striking visual effect, particularly at night.
The galley, designed in a North American style, serves as the heart of the yacht. It is not only a space for cooking but also a popular hangout spot. The galley is fitted with a Calacatta oro marble island, providing a central focal point, and is complemented by glossy white and light-toned sapele joinery. For added safety, the induction hobs cool instantly when a pan is removed.
The helm is streamlined and sophisticated, featuring seven monitors set behind a single piece of glass. The bridge includes an Edelman leather sofa and waterproof leather tiles on the floor, ensuring both comfort and durability.
Accommodation
Finish Line yacht offers accommodation designed for both comfort and functionality, ensuring a pleasant stay for all aboard. The vessel can host a total of eight guests in four well-appointed cabins located on the lower deck.
The master suite is positioned aft and spans the full beam of the yacht, providing ample space and privacy. Notably, the suite features an extensive wardrobe that runs the entire length of the 7.6-meter beam. This wardrobe was designed to meet the owner's specific request for a space reminiscent of a high-end menswear department. For additional privacy, a hidden pocket door can partition the wardrobe, making it suitable for charter use or accommodating friends. The en suite bathroom offers a spa-like atmosphere with celadon quartzite counters and a floating backlit mirror, complemented by built-in cabinetry for towel display.
Forward of the master suite, there are three guest cabins, each adaptable to different needs. These cabins can be configured as three rooms each with a queen bed or as a combination of a queen-bed room, a twin-bed room, and a playroom. The playroom conversion is particularly notable; it features a removable mattress section that can be stowed and two hinged mattress pieces that fold to form a sofa. Additionally, the wardrobe in this cabin includes removable shelves to accommodate a variety of toys, offering flexibility for families with young children.
She is also capable of carrying up to 5 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
