Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement aluminium hull and superstructure she features a 8.1m beam and a 2.8m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 354 GT (Gross Tonnes). The design also incorporates a heli-pad.

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Exterior Design

Flying Manta features a large swim platform, providing direct access to the ocean, making water activities easily accessible. The main deck aft is designed for alfresco dining, allowing guests to enjoy meals outdoors. The side balcony extends the living space, offering additional outdoor seating and lounging areas.

A notable feature is the Lloyds-certified helideck, which includes a refueling station. This addition ensures that helicopter operations are safe and efficient. The exterior also includes ample tender storage and space for diving equipment, catering to various recreational needs.

The hull is distinguished by its raked bow, enhancing its hydrodynamic efficiency and contributing to smoother navigation through various sea conditions. The hull's aluminium material is finished with Awlcraft 2000, providing a sleek and polished surface. The hull is coloured blue, complemented by a white superstructure and a gold boot top, creating a visually coherent and striking appearance. Below the waterline, the hull is coated in black, offering a sharp contrast to the vibrant blue above.

Interior Design

The main salon offers a relaxed environment with sound insulation for noise reduction, ensuring a quiet setting. The high-tech entertainment Kaleidoscope system is integrated into the living spaces, providing options for leisure and entertainment.  Forward to port, a circular dining table serves as a focal point for meals. The interior materials include high-quality wood and fabrics that enhance a sense of understated sophistication.

The galley is state-of-the-art, equipped with advanced appliances including a steamer, an instant freezer, and an artisan ice cream maker.  A notable feature is the barbecue grill adjacent to oyster and lobster tanks, offering the opportunity for fresh seafood preparation.

The cockpit can be fully enclosed and air-conditioned, transforming into a winter garden when needed. This versatile space adds to the overall utility and comfort of the yacht.

Accommodation

Flying Manta offers comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests in six well-appointed staterooms. This includes two master suites, a unique feature that provides versatile options for owners and guests.

Located on the main deck, the primary owner's suite is a spacious 50 square meters and includes a private office. This suite offers direct access to a second master cabin via a private interior staircase, allowing for the possibility of a private two-bedroom apartment. The owner's suite is complemented by a meticulously designed ensuite bathroom featuring high-quality marble finishes.

Guest accommodation is situated below deck, comprising four additional staterooms. Two of these staterooms feature double beds that can be converted into twin beds, providing flexible sleeping arrangements. Each cabin is equipped with ensuite facilities.

Flying Manta also accommodates a dedicated crew of eight. The crew quarters are designed to ensure that the team can provide top-tier service while maintaining their own comfortable living space.
