Design & Construction

Designed around a semi-displacement GRP hull and superstructure she features a 8.09m beam and a 2.85m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 338 GT (Gross Tonnes).

This was the eleventh yacht built on the 40 Metre Yacht design. She was delivered to her owners in May 2014.

Exterior Design

At the back, Marin features a hydraulic swim platform and a tender garage. The aft deck includes a circular table suited for outdoor dining, along with beanbags for additional seating. There is also built-in storage and a TV for convenience.

Moving up, the bridge deck has two teak tables and a sectional sofa. The deck is partially covered by an overhang that provides some shade. A TV and an ice maker are also available in this area.

The sundeck contains another sectional sofa, a large teak table, a sun pad, and a hot tub. It also includes a TV, two grills, a fridge, and ice makers. The track vision systems and satellite TV equipment are mounted on the mast.

Marin features a raked bow, which enhances both its performance and visual appeal. The deck is crafted from high-quality teak, providing durability and a traditional nautical appearance. The hull is painted in a sleek black color, which contrasts sharply with the white superstructure, creating a striking visual profile. The black color scheme is continued below the waterline, maintaining a consistent look throughout. The boot top is also black, adding to the cohesive design.

Interior Design

Upon entering the main salon, guests are greeted by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows on both sides, offering ample natural light and panoramic views. The decor features understated elegance, with functional furniture pieces designed for comfort and utility. A large TV, which can be concealed when not in use, is thoughtfully integrated into the space. The formal dining area, located forward of the main salon, is configured to accommodate up to 12 guests.

The galley is equipped with Miele appliances, providing reliability and efficiency in meal preparation. The layout includes extensive cold storage, with a series of refrigerators and freezers lined up along one wall, ensuring that provisions are easily accessible. Large windows over the sink area allow for natural light. A butler’s pantry area offers additional prep space and contains a dumbwaiter.

In the sky lounge U-shaped seating area is complemented by a TV and ample storage. This space also features a secondary dining area, which, while more casual than the main dining room, is still suitable for formal meals. A day head with an integrated shower is included for convenience. Additionally, the sky lounge has a practical wine fridge and additional refrigeration.

The helm station is equipped with advanced navigation and monitoring systems. The layout includes a large captain's chair and bench seating. Key features include multiple screens for engine monitoring, navigation, and radar systems, as well as essential controls such as the autopilot and bow thrusters. The captain’s cabin, located aft of the bridge, is a functional space with its own en suite.

Accommodation

Marin offers accommodation for up to 12 guests in five cabins.

The master cabin is located on the main deck and spans the full beam of the yacht, providing an expansive space for the owner. It includes a chaise lounge, a large TV, a dressing table, and ample built-in storage. The master cabin also boasts a spacious en suite bathroom with double vanities, a rainfall shower, and a separate toilet room.

Below the main deck, Marin houses four additional guest cabins. There are two mirrored VIP cabins, each equipped with queen-size beds, walk-in closets, dressing tables, and en suite bathrooms featuring dual vanities and rainfall showers.

The remaining two guest cabins are versatile and can accommodate up to three guests each. These cabins have two single beds that can be combined to form a queen bed and also feature a Pullman berth for an additional guest. Each of these cabins includes a TV and an en suite bathroom with a rainfall shower.

For the crew, Marin provides accommodation for up to seven members, ensuring a high standard of service for all guests on board.
