The 28m motor yacht Maxxx 2 was delivered to her owners in 2008 by British shipyard Sunseeker. Sunseeker is responsible for the complete look and feel of the superyacht, having created the interior design, exterior styling and naval architecture.

Design & Construction

Designed around a deep vee GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.3m beam and a 2.2m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 89 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Exterior Design

Maxxx 2 features a raked bow, contributing to its streamlined profile and enhancing its performance in various sea conditions. The hull is painted black, which contrasts sharply with the white superstructure. This two-tone color scheme is further complemented by a white boot top and a black finish below the waterline.

The large flybridge offers 360-degree views and is equipped with amenities for relaxed al fresco entertaining and dining. The remote-controlled hydraulic bathing platform provides easy access to the water, making it convenient for swimming or launching water toys. A dedicated garage offers ample storage for tenders and jet skis, ensuring that all recreational needs are met.

Maxxx 2 also includes generously sized sun pads, designed for leisure and relaxation. The exterior layout encourages social interaction, with various open spaces that cater to both large gatherings and more intimate settings.

The design prioritizes both performance and comfort, with TRAC fin stabilizers that ensure a smooth ride whether at cruising speed or anchored.

Interior Design

The interior design of Maxxx 2 focuses on functionality and comfort, enhanced by a recent cosmetic refit. The main saloon features a spacious, open-plan layout. Cream-colored sofas are complemented by brown and orange pillows, offering both style and relaxation. Large windows allow for ample natural light and provide clear views of the surroundings.

The saloon connects seamlessly to the dining area through floor-to-ceiling glass doors. This design choice allows for an easy transition between indoor and alfresco dining. The dining table is positioned to take advantage of the sea breeze, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Accommodation

Maxxx 2 is designed to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests in a versatile four-stateroom layout. She features a Master Suite, a VIP stateroom, and two additional staterooms that can be converted from twins to doubles, offering flexibility to suit the preferences of the guests.

Separate quarters are available for up to four crew members, housed in two crew cabins. This ensures that the crew can operate efficiently and maintain high standards of service and hospitality throughout the voyage.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (C32) 12-cylinder 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Maxxx 2 is capable of reaching a top speed of 30 knots, and comfortably cruises at 25 knots. With her 9,000 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 400 nautical miles at 21 knots.
