Moonshadow is a 42.6m expedition yacht delivered by Dutch shipyard Feadship in 2003. The yacht's exteriors have been penned by Douglas Sharp, while Glade Johnson Design has designed her interiors.

Design & Construction

Designed around a full displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 8.6m beam and a 2.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 443 GT (Gross Tonnes).

The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards.

Accommodation

Moonshadow offers accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Performance & Capabilities

Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3412 DI-TA) 720hp engines, motor yacht Moonshadow is capable of reaching a top speed of 13 knots, and comfortably cruises at 10 knots. With her 59,470 litre fuel tanks she has a maximum range of 4,700 nautical miles at 11 knots. She has been fitted with stabilizers to increase on-board comfort when the yacht is at anchor, particularly in rough waters.

Amenities

Air conditioning offers increased on-board comfort. Moonshadow also features an inviting spread of sunpads and deck jacuzzi which provides excellent views.
