Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 55'9" beam. The yacht is built over 5 decks with an internal volume of 6,080 GT (Gross Tonnes).
The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in June 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months.
Exterior Design
The exterior of Tanzanite displays a clipper bow shape, characterized by its sleek and sharp contours, providing a distinct visual identity. The teak decks complements the yacht’s white hull and superstructure, while the black boot strap, add a striking contrast to its overall color scheme.
Yacht Tanzanite exhibits a five-deck structure incorporating a diagonal ventilation line amidships. Large windows are a prominent feature, designed to integrate the external environment with the interior, enhancing the connection to the sea. These elements are set against expansive decks that offer generous uncluttered outdoor spaces.
Tanzanite is equipped with two helipads and two swimming pools — a larger one on the main deck and a smaller one on the bridge deck. These facilities are complemented by extensive seating areas, comfortable sofas, and spaces designed for al fresco dining, all arranged to maximize enjoyment of the sea views. The arrangement of stairs facilitates easy movement between the beach club and the main deck.
Interior Design
The interior of Tanzanite, designed by Zuretti Design, has a focus on detail through the use of high-quality materials and finishes, creating spaces that are both elegant and inviting. The design adopts a palette of golden honey color tones, enriching the atmosphere with a sense of warmth.
Throughout the yacht, an extensive use of marble is evident, from the floors to the countertops, adding a touch of luxury to the overall aesthetic. This choice of material is complemented by the large windows that allow natural light to flood the interior spaces.
A notable feature within Tanzanite is the marble staircase that wraps around a glass elevator, providing easy access between decks. The inclusion of a glass-bottomed pool introduces a unique visual element, allowing natural light to filter through and create dynamic patterns below.
Accommodation
Tanzanite offers accommodation for up to 22 guests in 11 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 44 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Tanzanite is powered by a state-of-the-art diesel-electric propulsion system, integrating Kongsberg Elegance® pods. These allow Tanzanite to achieve an 18 knot top speed and excellent maneuverability while maintaining minimal environmental impact. The system is designed to produce the lowest levels of noise and vibration in its class.
