The 52m motor yacht R.M.F was delivered to her owners in 2022 by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interior design and exterior styling comes from the drawing boards of Officina Italiana Design, while Sanlorenzo is responsible for her naval architecture.
Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 9.35m beam and a 2.9m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 499 GT (Gross Tonnes).
This was the seventh yacht built on the 52Steel design. Launched in May 2022 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was completed at Sanlorenzo's La Spezia yard in Italy where she was commissioned and delivered to her owners in October 2022.
Exterior Design
RMF is the seventh installment in the successful Sanlorenzo 52 STEEL series.
A high-raked bow leads to an area reserved for anchoring and mooring hardware, leading to a spacious guest area with sun pads and U-shaped seating with a table. The sleek profile displays large banks of glazing that create a visual contrast against the white superstructure. The hull features several portholes ensuring the interiors are flooded with natural light.
At the stern, twin stairways descend to a short fixed bathing platform, and from here, the innovative beach club is accessed. This expansive waterside area is fully revealed by opening the large tender door and the side balconies, providing access on three sides; natural light floods in from above through the glass-bottomed pool on the main deck aft.
Occupying the same space as the beach club, the float-in tender garage on the Sanlorenzo 52Steel eliminates the need for separate areas, resulting in an impressively large beach club that can accommodate a much larger tender than usual, including the option for an 8m limousine tender. Once docked inside the yacht, guests are shielded from the elements, ensuring safe disembarkation.
At the top of the yacht, the sundeck boasts an array of amenities, including sun loungers, plush seating, a spacious dining table accommodating up to 12 guests, and a stylish bar. Shade is provided by the sleek black carbon canopy of the radar mast, elegantly raked backward.
Accommodation
R.M.F offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites comprising an owners cabin, 2 double cabins and 2 twin cabins. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel Caterpillar (3512C) 2,400hp engines, motor yacht R.M.F is capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
