Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 12.5m beam and a 3.7m draft. The yacht is built over 3 decks with an internal volume of 2,128 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in mid 2021. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in March 2024 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in July 2024.
Exterior Design
Sakura features a plumb bow, designed to slice through the water, enhancing performance and stability. The deck is constructed from high-quality teak, offering durability and a classic maritime aesthetic. The hull and superstructure are painted in a clean, crisp white, creating a cohesive and elegant appearance. This is contrasted by the black boot top and below-the-waterline sections, adding a touch of sophistication to the overall look. Each element of Sakura's exterior has been chosen for its practicality and straightforward appeal.
The beach club includes unfolding terraces, which provide additional space and versatility for leisure activities. The forward-loading tender garage is a practical addition, ensuring easy and efficient storage and deployment of tenders. On the aft deck, a glass-fronted swimming pool is featured where the yacht's name, Sakura is prominently displayed. The bow is also designed to be heli-capable, allowing for convenient helicopter landings.
Accommodation
Sakura offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 9 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin electric (Electric Motor) engines, motor yacht Sakura is capable of reaching a top speed of 15 knots, and comfortably cruises at 12 knots.
