Design & Construction

Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 9.2m beam and a 1.6m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 488 GT (Gross Tonnes).

Construction started in late 2008. This was the sixth yacht built on the Mangusta 165 design. Launched in January 2011 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in March 2011.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Moka features a raked bow, providing a sleek and aerodynamic profile. The deck is made from durable teak, offering both functionality and a classic appearance. The hull and superstructure are painted white, creating a clean and cohesive look, while the area below the waterline is finished in black, adding a subtle contrast.

Moka's maneuverability is enhanced by water jet propulsion, which replaces traditional propellers and rudders. This system uses large buckets to direct the yacht's movement efficiently, making it highly agile for its size.

The main deck offers extensive space for various activities. The aft deck is equipped with a comfortable sofa and shaded areas for dining or relaxation. The foredeck provides an ideal setting for sunbathing or more intimate gatherings, with a table that seats 12 comfortably.

The flybridge on Moka includes modern gymnasium equipment, allowing for workouts with panoramic views. This thoughtful addition ensures that the owner can maintain their fitness routine while enjoying the surrounding scenery.

Interior Design

The interior design of Moka reflects a focus on quality and functionality. The materials used throughout the yacht are selected for their durability and aesthetic appeal. The cabinetry is executed with high-quality woodwork, featuring wenge and mild maple. These materials are chosen for their strength and visual appeal, contributing to a practical and refined atmosphere.

The main deck lounge is designed for comfort and relaxation. The interior features varnished wenge wood combined with leather furnishings. The space is arranged to accommodate social gatherings or quiet relaxation, with ample seating and unobstructed views.

Accommodation

Moka offers accommodation for up to 10 guests in five staterooms. The master stateroom is elegantly appointed, showcasing high-quality fixtures and fittings. This spacious suite includes a private ensuite bathroom adorned with premium marbles and granites. The design ensures that the owner experiences a serene and comfortable environment.

In addition to the master stateroom, Moka offers four guest cabins. Each cabin is distinctively decorated and includes its own ensuite bathroom. This thoughtful arrangement allows for a variety of guest combinations and ensures that every guest enjoys a similarly high level of comfort and convenience.

Moka also provides accommodation for a full-time crew. The crew quarters are designed to ensure that the staff can offer exemplary service while also having a comfortable space to retreat to during their off-hours.

She is also capable of carrying up to nine crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
