Design & Construction
Designed around a planing GRP hull and superstructure she features a 6.2m beam and a 1.95m draft. The yacht is built over 2 decks with an internal volume of 82 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Exterior Design
Vida Loca features a large swim platform that welcomes guests upon boarding. The yacht's exterior is fitted with teak decking, which provides both durability and a classic aesthetic. The first deck showcases a wide beam and an al-fresco dining area, ideal for enjoying meals with scenic views. Guests have the option to relax at the bow seating area or to move up to the flybridge. The flybridge is equipped with a BBQ area and a second helm station, which is useful for both cruising and maneuvering.
The white hull and superstructure present a clean and cohesive look. Below the waterline is painted black, matching the boot top color, which provides a uniform appearance and offers some protection against marine growth. These design choices reflect a focus on practicality, durability, and straightforward elegance. The raked bow design enhances the yacht's hydrodynamics, contributing to smoother navigation and improved performance.
Interior Design
The main deck's layout includes a large L-shaped saloon settee, providing a welcoming area for guests to gather. Adjacent to this space is an eight-person dining area, catering to meal times with ease. The decor features dark wood and honey-colored furnishings, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Expansive windows allow for ample natural light, enhancing the interior's open feel and providing unobstructed views of the surroundings.
The helm station is centrally located on the main deck, complemented by an L-shaped dinette. This setup allows for convenient navigation and interaction between the captain and guests. Internal stairs provide access to the flybridge, integrating the yacht's levels seamlessly.
Accommodation
Vida Loca offers refined and spacious accommodations for up to eight guests. The accommodation deck features four double cabins, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms to ensure maximum privacy and comfort.
Located midship, the owner's suite is designed to provide a tranquil retreat with ample space. This cabin is outfitted with premium furnishings and fittings, ensuring a restful experience. Positioned forward, the VIP cabin offers a similarly luxurious experience, with high-end amenities and a private en-suite bathroom.
Two additional double guest cabins are situated between the owner's suite and the VIP cabin. Each of these cabins is designed to offer a comfortable and private space for guests, complete with en-suite bathrooms.
To ensure seamless service and operations, Vida Loca includes accommodations for up to four crew members in two dedicated crew cabins. These cabins are located at the forward end of the yacht and are accessed from the outside deck, providing sound insulation for the VIP room and maintaining the privacy of the guests.
Performance & Capabilities
Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V2000M90) 1,800hp engines, motor yacht Vida Loca is capable of reaching a top speed of 27 knots, and comfortably cruises at 22 knots. Her planing hull design means she is fast and efficient as she slices through the water.
