Damen Yachting has announced the third Amels 200 has been sold and is scheduled for delivery in 2024.
The 60m (197ft) Limited Editions design is an evolution of the Amels 188 and, in keeping with the first two models sold, it will feature the hallmark exterior design of Tim Heywood. The custom interiors will come from the pen of Winch Design who know the Amels Limited Editions range very well.
The 1,015 GRT Amels 200 has much in common with her predecessor including naval architecture, high volume and hybrid electrical power technology, but benefits from the additional length as Tim Heywood explains:
“The additional length of the Amels 200 enhances the overall elegance and sophistication of my design, both inside and out. The larger windows create a lighter atmosphere to the interior, which is very welcoming” he says.
“This is a yacht with complex, multifaceted forms, complimented with graceful flowing lines, which combine to create a real eye-catching yacht, of which I am extremely proud. Exterior designer
In keeping with the first two yachts, this Amels 200 also features a four-deck elevator, air-conditioned gym on Sun Deck, large aft decks and Swim Platform and full-height windows in the Owners Suite.

The first two Amels 200 were launched earlier this year and are set to be delivered to their Owners in the coming months. The quick delivery time, which is achieved thanks to a blend of custom and platform build techniques, is one the reasons the series has proved so popular, more than 40 yachts from the Limited Editions have been delivered since 2007.
