Amer launch fourth yacht in Amer 94 series
Known as the 'Innovation Lab', the fourth Amer 94 has been launched boasting an impressive level of sustainability and an environmentally friendly ethos which is proving attractive to buyers.
As the first vessel in the Amer 94 series to be powered by twin Volvo Penta D13-IPS1350 engines, the craft weighs in at 20 tons lighter than other competitors of the same size range thanks to the many eco friendly options used in construction.

Many materials and substitutions have been used to significantly reduce the impact of the craft to the environment including optimum efficiency lithium batteries, a reduction in plastic components, a waste water system designed for use by the crew and an eco-friendly submarine film instead of the traditional anti-fouling paint.
An additional replacement is the airlite paint which is an organic compound free paint which helps to reduce the carbon print.
Other notable changes to the traditional construction options include variable phase generators, stabilizer fins and light pantograph doors.
