The 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival will be a key event for Arcadia Yachts, highlighting their newest project, the A96, named Best Motoryacht of the Year in the Robb Report's "Best of the Best 2024" awards.
The first hull of the A96 premiered for sale at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival and was quickly sold to a European client planning to cruise the Mediterranean. Built on spec, this hull was not available for sale until completion, allowing Arcadia's Pellegrino to fully realize his “crossover” design without custom requests. As Pellegrino puts it, "It’s a 96-footer that feels like a 130-footer."
The A96 blends the sleek, open-plan design of Arcadia’s Sherpa series with the speed, joystick maneuverability, and service quality of the A range. It offers 400sq/m (4,300sq/ft) of usable space, 30% more than similar yachts. The 7.3m (24ft) beam extends further with fold-down side platforms. Twin balconies and sliding glass doors on the main deck open the aft end to the elements, a feature also found on the upper deck. Low bulwarks and lateral walkways enhance the sense of space.
The A96, presented for sale in Cannes, boasts an interior design by Igor Lobanov, featuring sleek, Art Deco-inspired curves and dark lacquered surfaces.
This French boat show is an unmissable event for the whole industry and this year we’ll be showing three highly successful models that perfectly exemplify our offering of ‘slow’ yachting, which respects nature and encourages contemplation and the enjoyment of every moment of a cruise, from convivial situations to peaceful intimacy.”
