Arcadia Yachts announce the upcoming worldwide debut of the Sherpa XL at the iconic Cannes Yachting Festival. Scheduled to take place between the 10th and 15th of September 2019, the Cannes Yachting Festival will host the anticipated launch of the vessel which marks a decade of stunning yachts.
Celebrating their tin anniversary, Arcadia look back to their first launch of the A85 and now look towards a bright future with the introduction of the eye catching Sherpa XL.
Boasting many eco friendly solutions such as solar panels, a high-efficiency semi-planing hull and thermally insulated windows, the new Volvo Penta IPS 1050 powered vessel uses up to 30% less fuel than other vessels of the same size range. With the enhanced rate of fuel consumption the Sherpa XL has potential to reach ranges up to 1,500 nautical miles while cruising at 10 knots.
Measuring up at 24 metres in length, the Sherpa XL truly makes the most of the space made available onboard, creating 220 square metres of living space throughout the interiors and exteriors.
Volumes for interiors are of an unusual layout thanks to the unique designwork put in by collaborator Hot Lab design studio. The bow decks have been staggered in such a way that there is a central staircase connecting them with reduced height differences. The end result being large spaces within limited heights.
Spacious exteriors accompany the roomy and prestige interiors, with plenty of space for social entertaining throughout the day. A side garage capable of holding a four metre tender allows guests to explore new destinations, while freeing up space on the deck as a multi purpose location for relaxing, dining and socialising.
For guests who want to enjoy the views from interior comforts, the 35 square metre sunlounge on the upper deck is ideal for evening cocktails. Complete with a fully equipped bar, guests can enjoy the fresh air and sweeping views but also have the indulgence of the interior aspects of the Arcadia model.
Following on with the same premium finish and quality, overnight accommodation onboard the Sherpa XL is available in a three or four cabin layout. In both layouts, the crew access is kept separate to allow for optimal privacy at all times for guests staying onboard.
The master cabin boasts an abundance of natural light plus stunning panoramic views around the vessel and surrounding areas. A seamless transition within the cabin allows for smooth movement and easy access in to the private bathroom.
The large 22 square metre master cabin is also joined by a VIP, located in the bow, which also makes the most of the space available through creative innovations and clever use of furnishings and fittings.
