British Motor Yacht Show opens for anticipated 2023 edition

The British Motor Yacht Show returns for another edition at Swanick Marina, Southampton, with a strong fleet of production yachts waiting at the pontoons.

Expecting some of the biggest names in British yachting such as Princess, Sunseeker and Pearl Yachts, the British Motor Yacht Show is a quieter offering than the well-known Southampton International Boat Show, but it has everything an owner needs to get a real taste of the yachting lifestyle.

With a small boutique style about it, the British Motor Yacht Show is scheduled to run from 11-14 May and prides itself on offering all the visitors an all-in-one experience where you can view and buy a yacht, and then utilize the curated collection of exhibitors to complete the ultimate yachting package.

Operating differently to many other yacht shows, this event is predominantly appointment based, working to offer each new or experienced owner enough time to view a yacht thoroughly and then acquire any information they need there and then from respective brokers and representatives.

What To Expect At The British Motor Yacht Show

Despite being smaller than other shows, this Southampton-based event pulls out all the stops to cater to as many niches as it can. Strolling around the pontoons will provide close-up views to more than 70 yachts including flybridge yachts, speedy tenders, the latest water toys, cruisers and sports yachts to name a few.

Starting off as a mostly British affair, the show has grown over the years to include more and more international brands, with more than 15 being added over the last two editions. International brands that now regularly make an appearance include Beneteau, Azimut and Bavaria.
