Following in the footsteps of the Singapore Yacht Show, which is now being held in October 2020, the postponement of the major Middle Eastern show is now to be hosted at the latter end of 2020.
Now scheduled to take place between the 24-28 November 2020, the Dubai International Boat Show has been altered due to the health risk of the current coronavirus sweeping the globe.
Although it is still safe to travel in UAE, the COVID-19 virus has affected travel circumstances in many countries which hold a vast number of regular attendees to the event. Hence the decision to postpone the event to a time where the risk of contamination will be under control.
Our decision comes after much deliberation in consultation with the event’s main industry stakeholders and partners, who have strongly endorsed our prioritisation of the collective interests of both the global exhibitors and the key buyers from the region.

Despite the severity of the issue resulting in such action to be taken, exhibitors and shipyards are excited about the new dates in November as they correspond to not only one of the busiest periods of the yachting calendar, but it also coincides with the Expo Dubai 2020.
Running from 20 October 2020– 10 April 2021, the Expo Dubai 2020 eminates largely around sustainability, culture and technology making it an ideal event for shipyards to influence an otherwise untouched audience.
Further details regarding attending vessels will be released later on in the year.
