Measuring 123 meters in length and boasting an impressive 7,690 Gross Tonnage (GT), motor yacht GOLDEN ODYSSEY now holds both the titles of the largest and the longest yacht in the show’s history, just as the event is about to begin.
This unexpected turn follows yesterday’s story where motor yacht RENAISSANCE was reported as the largest yacht to attend the Monaco Yacht Show this year. RENAISSANCE, a 112m superyacht built by Freire Shipyard with 7,200 GT, had previously been set to be crowned the largest yacht over KISMET, which, at 122m, was due to hold the title for the longest yacht but lacked the interior volume to compete. In our earlier report, we clarified that RENAISSANCE outranked KISMET based on Gross Tonnage, a more accurate measure of size than length alone according to YachtBuyer's YB100 league table.

However, with GOLDEN ODYSSEY taking the place of Oceanco's H3 and now officially entering the show, it surpasses both RENAISSANCE and KISMET, taking the top spot in terms of both length and volume. This marks a historic moment for the Monaco Yacht Show, as GOLDEN ODYSSEY becomes the largest yacht ever to attend the prestigious event, reshuffling the rankings and setting a new benchmark for size and luxury.

GOLDEN ODYSSEY was designed by Martin Francis with interiors by Alberto Pinto, and combines elegance and performance, featuring a steel hull and aluminum superstructure. The yacht accommodates up to 32 guests in 16 luxurious cabins and houses a crew of 60 in 30 cabins, ensuring top-tier service and comfort on board.
