Design & Construction
Designed around a displacement steel hull and an aluminium superstructure she features a 18m beam and a 5.1m draft. The yacht is built over 7 decks with an internal volume of 7,200 GT (Gross Tonnes).
Construction started in early 2020 with the keel laid under the project name 'Freire 724'. The yacht was designed and constructed in compliance with the Lloyds Register technical standards. Launched in June 2023 this yacht undertook sea trials over the following months. She was delivered to her owners in June 2023.
Exterior Design
Renaissance presents a striking silhouette on the water that is both elegant and assertive. The imposing hull, built to Ice Class ID specifications, not only grants the vessel the capability to navigate through 16-inch-thick ice but also ensures a robust and stable journey across the open seas.
At the fore of the Renaissance, a certified helipad offers guests a prestigious and convenient entry point, setting the tone for the exceptional experience that awaits. Moving aft, the generous deck spaces are thoughtfully arranged to facilitate both social gatherings and private moments. The owner's deck features private fore and aft decks, providing secluded outdoor areas that complement the interior's spaciousness.
The main deck is home to a substantial 5m x 10m swimming pool, inviting guests to immerse themselves in relaxation under the sun. This central feature is flanked by well-appointed bars, including a sushi bar and a secondary bar equipped with a pizza oven, ensuring refreshments are always within arm's reach.
The yacht's numerous dining options extend to al fresco experiences across five decks. Two of these decks are enhanced with BBQ facilities, allowing for an immersive dining experience where guests can enjoy freshly prepared meals in the open air.
The Renaissance's beach club is an embodiment of the yacht's connection to the sea, featuring port and starboard terraces that create an expansive, welcoming environment. This space draws guests closer to the ocean, offering a variety of water toys housed within a spacious garage, ready to provide endless entertainment.
Above all, the Renaissance is a vessel that is designed for extensive travel, evident in its robust build and the inclusion of a quartet of custom tenders by Cockwells. These tenders, designed with influences from private jet interiors, extend the yacht's reach, enabling guests to explore their surroundings with ease and comfort.
Interior Design
Renaissance's main saloon, with its 5.7-meter ceiling height, offers an expansive area reminiscent of stately mansions. This space is cleverly divided by a glass mezzanine, separating the saloon to starboard and the dining area to port. Rotating central panels on the main deck level can be opened or closed to suit the guests' needs, providing flexibility in how the space is used.
The open-plan main saloon integrates living and entertainment spaces, flowing from the aft deck to the formal dining area. Extensive glazing allows natural light to fill the interior. The saloon is furnished with high-quality fabrics and furnishings from Höller, featuring neutral colors. Unique paneling and geometric furnishings complement large floor-to-ceiling windows, enhancing the light and airy atmosphere. A curated art collection, specially-commissioned stained glass, and vibrant backlit onyx bars add artistic and dramatic elements to the space.
The gym area is notable for its size, opening out onto an aft deck. This space is designed for fitness and well-being. The spa deck includes a wellness center, featuring two plunge pools, a steam room, sauna, massage rooms, and a hair salon.
Additionally, there is a Jazz bar and cinema onboard, offering various entertainment options. For dining, an onboard pizza oven is available, offering an authentic Italian dining experience.
Accommodation
The Renaissance yacht offers accommodation facilities for up to 36 guests across 19 cabins. The guest staterooms are designed for flexibility, featuring a mix of doubles, twins, and convertible suites. These cabins are distributed between the upper and spa decks, each uniquely themed around different global cities such as New York, Paris, and Tokyo. Decorated with light fabrics and furniture accented in gold, every room offers a distinct atmosphere while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout the yacht.
The owner's deck is a distinguished space with a palatial 60 square meter (646 square foot) stateroom. The suite features expansive views, complemented by dual walk-in wardrobes and dual bathrooms, each with access to the side decks. The area is further enhanced by a media room, a lounge with a bar, and private dining arrangements. The owner's suite extends to a private foredeck with a six-person jacuzzi, sun loungers, and a seating area, while the aft deck offers a setting for private dinner parties accommodating up to 12 guests.
Renaissance is also capable of carrying up to 44 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.
