Following concerns regarding the early stages of the coronavirus pandemic, the Middle Eastern show was postponed to 24-28 November 2020, however, following ongoing discussions the event will now be missing out 2020 altogether.
Rescheduled by the show organisers at the Dubai World Trade Centre, there have reportedly been consultations with Dubai Harbour and Dubai International Boat Show stakeholders prior to the announcement.
Commenting on the first postponement of the event the organisers stated they were 'endorsing prioritisation of the collective interests of both the global exhibitors and the key buyers from the region.'
These ethics look to have been equally influential in the latest postponement, with COVID-19 still affecting travel and safety of visitors and exhibitors alike.
In light of the second postponement of the popular UAE based event, those looking to buy a yacht will be pleased to hear that the 2021 Dubai International Boat Show is already looking at showcasing a yacht display worth a jaw-dropping AED 2.6 billion.
