Launched from the yard's facilities in the Netherlands, superyacht SPARTA was previously known as YN 20067 and has been inspired by Heesen's Project Avanti concept that was initially showcased during the 2018 Monaco Yacht Show.
Becoming the largest steel build from the yard, taking over 65m superyacht ILLUSION, superyacht SPARTA began construction with her keel laying ceremony in 2020 and features collaborative design input from London-based studio Winch Design, and boasts a crisp, striking aesthetic, complete with Venetian red and metallic anthracite grayboot stripes.
With a gross tonnage of 1,200 GT, the superyacht is now set to progress through the final commissioning phases, prior to her impending sea trials in the North Sea.
Created closely alongside the owners, the Heesen superyacht, the main two elements focused on for the project are family and connectivity to nature.
Requiring ample space to spend time with family onboard, the layout onboard superyacht SPARTA is said to be spacious and sport natural themes throughout. The lower deck represents water, with the main deck being earth, and the upper deck as air.
Mixed in with long, elongated, stretches of glazing and the capacious beach club environment, guests onboard will be able to endure Mother Nature at her finest from every angle.
Aside from the nature-infused interiors, onboard liveability is premium to say the least with facilities including a specially requested 6.5-meter infinity pool, a beach terrace and a fully kitted out health and wellness area complete with an elliptical whirlpool, steam room, sauna, state of the art gym and a beauty area.
Other stand-out features onboard include a stunning oak staircase, with staggered panels, that connects the decks and a matching Tenderworks custom limousine tender, that resembles the mothership.
